Musicals:

Hair: personally this is one of my favourite musicals of all. The plot is a result of the hippie and sexual revolution in the 60's. Because of the Vietnam war that started in the decade of the 50's and ended in the 70's many of hair's songs are considered peace anthems. It tells the story of a long haired "tribe" living a bohemian life in New York City. It also has a film adaptation. Favourite songs: Aquarius, Hair, Donna and Let the Sunshine In
